  1. Aims and Scope

The Journal of Applied Mathematics & Data Analytics (JAMDA) is a premier, peer-reviewed, international journal dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of original, high-quality research at the intersection of applied mathematics and data analytics. Our primary aim is to provide a unified platform for researchers, academics, and industry practitioners to share innovative methodologies, theoretical developments, and practical applications that bridge the gap between mathematical modeling and data-driven discovery.

JAMDA seeks to foster a dynamic, interdisciplinary community by publishing work that leverages rigorous mathematical principles to solve complex, real-world problems in the era of big data.

JAMDA welcomes submissions of original research articles, comprehensive review papers, and insightful case studies. The scope of the journal is broad and interdisciplinary, encouraging contributions that integrate both foundational and applied aspects of the following areas. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

Core Areas in Applied Mathematics:

  • Mathematical Analysis and Applications: Scientific Computation and Application of Nonlinear Analysis, Complex Analysis, Fixed Point Theory and Applications.
  • Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computing:Numerical Methods for ODEs and PDEs, Computational Linear Algebra, High-performance Computing.
  • Mathematical Modeling and Simulation:Modeling of Physical, Biological, Financial and Social Systems.
  • Optimization and Operations Research:Linear and Non-linear programming, Convex Optimization, Best proximity Theory, Stochastic Optimization, Control Theory.
  • Differential Equations and Dynamical Systems:Theory and Applications of Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations.
  • Stochastic Processes and Financial Mathematics:Probability Theory, Random Processes, Mathematical finance, and Risk Analysis.
  1. Article Types

JAMDA accepts the following types of contributions:

  •    Research Articles: Detailed reports of original, significant research (typically 15-25 pages).
  •    Review Articles: Comprehensive surveys of current trends and literature in a specific field (invited by the editors).
  •    Short Communications: Brief reports of novel findings or developments that merit rapid publication (typically 6-10 pages).
  1. Submission Process

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through our online submission system at:  https://jamda.abru.ac.ir/journal/submission

Before submission, please ensure that:

  •    The manuscript has not been published previously nor is under consideration by any other journal.
  •    All authors have approved the submission.
  •    The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in this guide.
  •    You have a PDF file of the manuscript prepared using the provided LaTeX template .
  1. Manuscript Preparation

Language: All submissions must be in clear, grammatically correct English. Authors for whom English is not a native language are strongly encouraged to have their manuscript professionally edited before submission.

Formatting:

  • We strongly recommend using the official JAMDA LaTeX Template available for download on our website. This ensures correct formatting for headers, abstracts, and references. (please download at here)
  • If not using LaTeX, manuscripts should be in a single-column format, double-spaced, with numbered pages and lines.
  • Use SI units.

Structure: Research articles should generally be organized into the following sections:

  1. Title Page: Including a concise and informative title, full names and affiliations of all authors, and the email address of the corresponding author.
  2. Abstract: A single paragraph of no more than 250 words, summarizing the objectives, methods, key results, and conclusion. Avoid abbreviations and references.
  3. Keywords: 5-8 keywords, separated by commas.
  4. Introduction: Clearly state the problem, the background, and the objectives of the work.
  5. Methods/Preliminaries: Describe the methodology, models, and materials used in sufficient detail to allow the work to be reproduced.
  6. Results and Discussion: Present results clearly and discuss their significance. This section may be combined.
  7. Conclusion: Summarize the main findings and their implications, and suggest potential future work.
  8. Acknowledgments (optional): Funding sources and personal acknowledgments.
  9. References: See below.
  10. Appendices (if necessary).

Figures and Tables:

  •   All figures and tables must be cited in the text in numerical order.
  •   Figures should be of high resolution (minimum 300 dpi) and submitted as separate files (e.g., `.png`, `.pdf`, `.eps`). Ensure that all text within figures is legible.
  •   Tables should be editable (created in LaTeX or Word, not inserted as images).
  1. References Style

JAMDA uses a standard numerical citation style (e.g., [1], [2, 5]). The reference list should be numbered sequentially in the order of citation in the text.

Examples:

Journal Article:

[1] Author, A. B., & Coauthor, C. D. (Year). Title of the article. *Title of the Journal, Volume*(Issue), page-page. DOI: [https://doi.org/10.1000/123456](https://doi.org/10.1000/123456)

Book:

[2] Researcher, E. F. (Year). *Title of the Book* (Edition ed.). Publisher Name.

Conference Proceedings:

[3] Developer, G. H., & Programmer, I. J. (Year, Month). Title of the paper. In *Proceedings of the Title of the Conference* (pp. page-page). Publisher. DOI: [https://doi.org/10.1000/7891011](https://doi.org/10.1000/7891011)

It is the author's responsibility to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all references.

  1. Ethical Guidelines

JAMDA follows the core practices outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors must adhere to the highest ethical standards:

  • Originality and Plagiarism: Submitted manuscripts must be the original work of the authors. Plagiarism in any form constitutes unethical behavior and is unacceptable.
  • Authorship: All listed authors must have made a significant intellectual contribution to the work.
  • Data Access and Retention: Authors may be asked to provide raw data related to their manuscript for editorial review and must be prepared to retain such data for a reasonable time after publication.
  • Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest: All authors must disclose any financial or other substantive conflicts of interest that might influence the results or their interpretation.
  1. Peer Review Process

All manuscripts are subjected to a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. Both the authors and the reviewers remain anonymous to each other. The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision on acceptance based on the reviewers' recommendations. This process typically takes 8-12 weeks.

  1. Publication Fees

JAMDA is committed to diamond open access. There are no Article Processing Charges (APCs) or submission fees for authors. The publication costs are supported by the University of Ayatollah Borujerdi.

  1. Copyright and Licensing

Upon acceptance for publication, authors grant the journal the right of first publication.
